'Clumper' was purchased in May 2008 from Kristy Wren of Bermagui in NSW. An absolute Schoolmaster and a gentle giant, Clumpie is everything we have been looking for in our new Eventer and Dressage mount. Tania and David will both share the reins on the Eventing circuit and he may even have a go at Hunting. His unflappable temperment means that he is a 'go anywhere, do anything' kinda guy!
Clumpie is an experienced jumper, competing mostly in the past as a Show Jumper, having cruised around many a Royal Show and World Cup Circuit. He is Graded EFA 'B' Grade for his Show Jumping and has also completed many events.
We look forward to forming a lasting partnership with this special horse.

Yes that's right, he's not just a show horse! This truely versatile character is such a happy jumper. He took to jumping right from his first trot pole and draws into his jumps with ears pricked and with genuine excitement. He constantly blows us away at his brave and bold approach to jumps and will tackle anything he is pointed at with determination. He shows enormous scope and technique over a fence and always fixes himself to get both he and his rider out of trouble if the approach is not right. Bailey just loves his Show Jumping and is showing a genuine interest and talent for Dressage also. We look forward to developing his performance skills further. What a fun horse!
For only three event starts he has produced the following impressive results:
2nd Overall - Mt Pleasant ODE - 1st after dressage in a field of 20+ with a score of 78%
3rd Overall - Roskhill Horse Trials - Dressage score 68%
1st Overall - Southern Zone Championships ODE - Dressage 69%
